Focus

When I started pulling this website together a few years ago, I really wanted to write a subtitle or slogan that really brought to life what I try to accomplish and why I do this. After pondering quite a bit, I eventually came up with, "Bringing what's most important into focus." I've always been one to put emphasis on kindness, love, faith, and family. And then I noticed how as a photographer, I do focus on just that. Literally.
This past year, life has been a little nutty. Obviously, by the look of my photography Facebook and Instagram accounts, social media has definitely not been my focus. Even though I haven't been very present online, I have been present with so many incredible families and couples this past year to give them images that bring their love and families into focus. It has been a blessing and it is beautiful to me when images I have delivered are displayed in client's homes as a reminder of the core focus in their own lives. I cannot wait to share over a years worth of my work to you, and to show you the portfolio that I have built. This work is so important to me.
I have spent the last few days pondering my time management. I sat down and scheduled the next month's posts for my Instagram so that you can begin to see the hard work and passion I have put into the images from the past year. I'm grateful for automatic posting so that I can pound out a month's worth at a time so that I can then continue to focus on being present with my family and hopefully I'll get the honor of focusing on your family too.
